Back to Basics Daycare is ...

Back to Basics Daycare is a Licensed Group Childcare Facility established by Rosy Murphy, the owner and operator, on September 1st, 2004. The center is located in a very friendly & family oriented neighborhood.  It is a caring, unique, and warm environment which provides a stimulating and nurturing environment for the children.  Our outdoor area is developmentally appropriate for all ages; the playground is divided into two areas, the lower play ground is designed for Infants/Toddlers while the upper play ground is more suitable for the 30 months to school age programs.

We are open Monday thru Friday from 7:30am – 6:00pm.  The center offers a flexible schedule meeting the needs of the parents and the children.  The center has four programs all in the same building. 

The center operates all year around for the children with the exception of;

          * Statutory holidays,

          * Easter Break (Good Friday & Easter Monday)

          * Christmas Break ( dates are determined yearly)

          At Back to Basics Daycare we believe that learning should be fun and exciting for all  children, and to provide the opportunity to grow and learn in an environment that fosters each child’s uniqueness.

          We believe that a child’s emotional, social and creative self can be enhanced through age appropriate activates that are a success oriented and that builds each child’s self-esteem. All children should be provided with a safe environment with staff that are sensitive and nurture the children’s needs for caring, independence and respect.
